    Genuine Antique "Map of Senegal with part of the Coast of Africa" from
    The New General and Universal Atlas
    by Andrew Dury, London, 1761. This charming miniature copperplate image of Senegal is delicately hand colored in outline.  Some details are unmapped in the interior desert and political and physical characteristics are quite different from what is known today. This very interesting map is in good condition with faint age toning. Center fold as issued. Image measures 4"x 4 3/4".
